Peran World Food Programme (WFP) Dalam Mengatasi Krisis Pangan Di Republik Demokratik Kongo Tahun 2016-2019

Konflik politik pada tahun 2016 - 2019 akibat keputusan perpanjangan masa jabatan Presiden Joseph Kabila meningkatkan angka kerawanan pangan dan jumlah pengungsi di Republik Demokratik Kongo (RD Kongo). Kebijakan pemerintah belum mampu mengatasi krisis pangan di dalam negaranya, dengan adanya peran dari organisasi internasional seperti World Food Programme (WFP), bisa menyelamatkan banyak nyawa masyarakat melalui pendistribusian bantuan darurat. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis peran WFP dalam mengatasi krisis pangan di RD Kongo pada tahun 2016-2019 menggunakan konsep implementasi organisasi internasional. WFP menerapkan visi, misi serta program bantuannya dengan melakukan pengawasan dan mengelola bantuan pangan, memberikan transparansi dan terbuka akan peran yang dijalankan. WFP membantu pemerintah RD Kongo agar bisa mengembangkan kapasitas negaranya, serta WFP bekerjasama dengan mitra lokal seperti kementerian RD Kongo dan mitra internasional seperti beberapa badan Persatuan Bangsa-Bangsa serta para donatur.
