Perancangan Instrumentasi Alat Uji Test Bench Electronic Ducted Fan (EDF) Menggunakan Arduino Mega 2560

Electric ducted fan (EDF) menjadi alternatif bagi mesin pendorong wahana terbang yang menggunakan baterai sebagai sumber energi. Terdapat dua faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam penerapan EDF ke wahana terbang, yaitu gaya dorong (thrust) dan gaya guling (rolling) yang disebabkan oleh putaran sudu (blade) EDF. Selain itu, temperatur motor EDF operasi juga memerlukan perhatian karena mempengaruhi kinerja EDF. Selain menurunkan efisiensi, temperatur tinggi juga berpotensi merusak motor. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah menerapkan instrumen pengukuran gaya dorong, gaya guling, dan temperatur motor EDF pada alat uji (test bench) EDF. Sensor pengukuran gaya dorong dan guling menggunakan load cell masing-masing berkapasitas 5 kg dan 1 kg, sedangkan pengukuran suhu menggunakan sensor MLX90614. Untuk memastikan instrumen pengukuran menunjukkan hasil pengukuran tepat, maka dilakukan kalibrasi. Hasil kalibrasi sensor load cell 1 kg dan 5 kg menunjukkan error sebesar 0,237% dan 0,050%, sedangkan hasil kalibrasi sensor MLX90614 didapatkan rata-rata error yaitu 0,92%. Dengan demikian instrumen ini dapat digunakan dalam pengujian kinerja EDF.
