Abstract

Pengecoran adalah suatu proses produksi untuk mendapatkan produk yang dinamakan coran dengan cara mencairkan logam pada temperatur cairnya dan menuangkannya kedalam cetakan dan dibiarkan membeku. Penambahan unsur, proses dan mekanisme atau metode yang tepat dapat menghasilkan coran dengan kualitas unggul. Metode pengecoran dengan tekanan dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi pengecoran dengan tekanan rendah, pengecoran dengan tekanan tinggi dan pengecoran squeeze.
