DISTRIBUSI UDARA DALAM WATER COOLING TOWER

Perancangan kolom packed dibutuhkan pengetahuan yang baik seperti pada distribusi gassecara radial dan berguna untuk membuat analisa pada water cooling tower, dimana
pengaruh dimensi paling besar dipertimbangkan, dan memainkan bagian yang utama dalam
perancangan. Teori yang akan dikembangkan, pertama untuk penampang lintang empat
persegi panjang pada cooling tower, yang kedua untuk sekitar cooling tower, dimana
masalah akan dikembangkan dalam koordinat silinder. Distribusi vertikal udara melalui
kolom packed dengan penampang lintang empat persegi panjang dengan udara masuk
secara simetri dari dua sisi yang berlawanan, dinyatakan dengan fungsi cosinus. Di
sekeliling cooling tower kecepatan udara vertikal adalah maksimum pada pusat dan
minimum pada diameter tower.
