Abstract

Khutbah jumat merupakan aktivitas rutin di kalangan umat Islam di seluruh dunia, termasuh Indonesia, karena ibadah tersebut dilaksanakan secara teratur setiap hari jumat. Ibadah ini hukumnya wajib bagi muslim laki-laki yang sudah mukallaf (islam, baligh, berakal). Sebagaimana dengan ibadah shalat jumat, penyampaian khutbah jumat juga merupakan pesan dakwah bagi para khatib. Pesan khutbah jumat tersebut dapat mencapai sasaran atau tujuan yang tepat apabila dilakukan dengan efektif. Diantara tujuan penyampaian pesan khutbah jumat adalah meningkatkan ketauhidan atau keimanan seseorang. sehubungan dengan demikian, maka pesan khutbah jumat yang efektif dapat meningkatkan ketauhidan dan keimanan seseorang.
